Why It’s Difficult For People To Get Help

You say you have no one to help you, but is that the whole truth? (Let’s talk about your money reputation)
Since I made the post about my experience with loan apps and the follow-up post on “how to get out of debt,” I’ve received countless messages from people asking me to borrow them money to pay their debts, while some are begging me to give them money in order not to borrow from loan apps. Each time I read these messages, I just roll my eyes because I truly cannot believe it. The fact is, I don't have any money to lend anyone, and if you want to borrow from loan apps after all I’ve said, please go ahead.
That’s been said, now let’s talk about the popular tune many people sing whenever you question them about debts or why they got involved with loan apps. They’ll often say they have no one to help them. No family, no friend, or acquaintance.
Even though some people’s reality may really mirror that, the majority of those who chant this are people who have simply burned bridges that were once available to them.
You didn’t just not have help; rather, you’ve exhausted, abused, and disrespected the help that was once freely and lovingly given. I have loaned 100k to someone before, and when it was time to get my money, she rained curses and abuses on me and dared me to do my worst because she didn’t have the money yet, she even told md there was nothing I could do about it and till today I’ve not seen that money. Do you think I’ll lend her anything again even if she’s dying? I can bet you with my life that I won’t.
Many of you reading this lack money reputation. Many of you who say you have no help or anyone you can call to help you need character rehabilitation.
If you think about it really well, you will remember how you’ve borrowed money from your family members and friends but have refused to pay back and become unreachable when it is time to repay.
You knew how to beg humbly when you needed the loan, but you turned into a monster when you were reminded of your promise to return it. You threw insults and spread stories about the same person who helped you without interest or collateral. The reason many of your family and friends don’t help you anymore is because you have made helping you feel like a curse.
Always have this at the back of your mind: whenever you borrow money, you are also borrowing trust, and when you fail to repay, you default on more than cash, you default on character as well.
And this is not only applicable to money. You borrowed someone’s bag, shoes, clothes, or a book, and you returned it damaged or not at all. You turned entitlement into your default posture, believing that people owe you help even when your track record screams otherwise.
And then you wonder why no one picks your call when you are in need and why no one wants to lend you anything, not even attention. My darling, it’s not hatred, it’s memory. People remember, and they adjust accordingly.
Being creditworthy isn’t just about banks alone. Your friends, siblings, colleagues, even your spouse are all watching how you handle the titles you’ve been trusted with. And when your money behavior consistently disrespects the dignity of others, you’ll find yourself alone with no access to help, not because they are wicked, but because you’ve made yourself unreliable.
So before you run to another loan app to ruin yourself, take a moment and ask yourself: Who have I wronged? Whose trust have I violated? Whose kindness did I repay with arrogance, contempt, and silence?
When you are done answering these questions, reach out to them. Apologize to them. Pay back what you owe them, even if it’s in parts. Show that you’re a changed person. Let people see your growth not just through words but through your actions.
Because listen, not everyone is broke.
Some people have that money you are being embarrassed over, but won’t offer it
to you again until you become the kind of person they can trust with help.
You don’t get to misuse people and still expect them to rescue you. Ka ma
ri ni Paulu wi.
May we all learn.
May we all grow.
And may we all heal our money reputations.
